Who am I?

Its always difficult going to the polls and not knowing who you are voting for. I don’t want to be a stereotypical politician. A character trait of mine that I value so much is authenticity. I am who I am from the moment you meet me. I’m a small town girl who has cherished Nye County my whole life. After graduating from Pahrump Valley Highschool there were limited opportunities here, so I created my own. At the ripe age of eighteen I hit the work force through the Nye Communities Coalition Youth Works Program. Securing employment with Nye County changed my life! My success in the Nye County District Attorneys Office opened doors for me to achieve more! I opened a woman owned small business as a side hustle. In a male dominated industry, sheet metal and welding. The extra income from my company allowed me to chase my dreams of being a rodeo athlete. When I am not working, I am spending time with my horses. My love for animals keeps me motivated. They have taught me hard work, discipline and selflessness. Being the “go getter” I am, I am always trying to improve myself and improve my life. I have loved the work I have done for the Nye County District Attorneys Office, so much that I am in pursuit of my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. I will be graduating from UNLV in the fall of 2026. My journey with the department has been so fulfilling. Over the last fourteen years I climbed the ranks earning promotion after promotion. Currently sitting in a top spot as supervising Executive Legal Secretary. There isn’t a support staff position that I have not worked. However, I am more than just a secretary. I was born a leader. I possess the skills and the drive to be a tremendous asset to the Nye County community. As Nye County Clerk I plan on tackling the task, just as I have tackled my life. In the pursuit of always improving the department, and impacting the County in a positive way that will provide opportunities for others.
